This aquamarine shines beautifully, throwing light captured from multiple angles through the faceted rose cut surface as well as off the gold geometry reflecting through the back of te gemstone. Aquamarine is the birthstone for March and in ancient times it was believed to be a treasure of the mermaids. It has a hardness of 7.5-8 on the MOHS scale, so it's suitable for everyday wear, plus the Iris setting protects the stone even more than a typical setting.
